Hazelwood Teething Necklaces
Made in Canada
Derived from Corylus cornuta, a widespread indigenous bush that grows throughout many regions of Canada. Harvesting the twigs doesn’t affect the vitality of the bush, which grows back continuously after pruning.
Hazelwood has been traditionally used for its medicinal properties for centuries, by indigenous people. It is rich in active compounds which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Wearing Pure Hazelwood necklaces/bracelets in contact with the skin can soothe or relieve symptoms or various ailments like:
Teething Pain in Babies, Arthritic & Joint Pain, Digestion Disorders (gastric reflux, heartburns, constipation), as well as Skin Disorders (acne, eczema, psoriasis)
Each Hazelwood necklace is made from Naturally growing Hazelwood and natural gemstones (depending on style), so each necklace will be unique. No two are alike. Please use above picture as a reference.
Each necklace is threaded on a metal thread covered in nylon for strength, suppleness and durability. It is highly resistant to nicks, abrasions and water absorption. Making it long lasting and safe.
The necklace string will not break. If the necklace gets caught or is under too much tension the clasp will open on either end without breaking the string of beads. Because the beads are threaded and clamped at both ends, the beads will not fall out because the thread (metal covered in nylon) will not break. No small pieces would be accessible for children to swallow.
To ensure the effectiveness of the Hazelwood Necklace it should be periodically checked and changed every 3-6 months.
Over time Hazelwood loses it's effectiveness which is shown by the darkening of the wood.
Hazelwood necklaces can be worn in the bath or shower, but avoid wearing them in the pool or spa.
